Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of enthusiastic and diverse learners. They love collaborative opportunities to play and engage with their peers. My students enjoy learning that is hands-on and game-based. Every Friday, we engage in literacy centers where they apply what they have been learning during phonics instruction.
Playing games that incorporates their reading skills will help them make gains in their reading skills.
These games will be used during our literacy block on Fridays. This will afford the students the opportunity to apply reading skills while playing and engaging with their peers.
