My Project

My autism students are curious, inquisitive, and sensory seekers! However play is an area they have trouble understanding. How to actively play with a toy or within an area with toy choices.

In a push to boost their play experience, we want to bring new materials to our play centers and indoor recess room!

We have several students interested in trains so a train table just seems fitting! The few dress up items we have were a hit! We would like to expand our collection and provide the items in our classroom as well as the indoor recess room. The other items, such as the sandbox table, that has been selected are to increase the size of current favorites. Our class size is growing so our on hand materials needs to as well!
