Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Over the last few years, we have acquired some gross motor (large muscle) toys like tricycles and big wheel bikes as well as new balls, jump ropes, shovels, buckets, sifters, and a picnic table. The kids have really enjoyed running and playing, just being KIDS.

Because secure storage for our outside equipment has been an issue, I waited until we had a 6 foot security fence installed on our playground before creating this project.

The fence is IN and we are super SECURE. All we need now is somewhere to store our bikes, balls, sand toys, etc.

I would like to purchase a medium-sized storage shed that we can securely store our bikes, sand toys, balls, and picnic table. We can put a lock on this shed and chain it down to protect our toys against theft and vandalism. The kids need to be able to experience childhood through movement and play! We have the items...just not the ability to store them!
