My Students

My school serves some of the most disadvantaged students in our district. We are a special education preschool that works with students ranging from medically fragile, autism, behavior, developmental delays, and more.

My students have a need to be cared for and a passion to thrive.

The main focus is preparation for elementary school. The elementary teachers that we talk to say the most important tool we can instill in our preschoolers is social emotional support. Thanks for your support.

My Project

The baby dolls, blankets, and bottles will be used to support the social emotional needs that many of my students do not receive at home. Many of these kids come from dysfunctional, abusive, and lack of knowledge to parent homes. They come to us with educational deficiencies, but at such a young age, it is necessary to give them the social emotional tools they need so that they can succeed with their education and their everyday lives.

Baby doll circle time is a chance for special needs students to care and love on something safe, it works wonders.
