My Project
Please help my students with speech and language difficulties to learn about running a restaurant business! My primary students will practice language skills when they pretend to take orders and talk to customers. They can practice following directions as the therapist gives them directions to cook pretend recipes. They will also learn beginning financial skills by charging customers money for the food they cook.
Having a restaurant will help our students use their language skills and acquire new vocabulary.
Having play cash registers and food sets, I will help be able to plan lessons to target skills such as recognizing numbers, counting, and taking- turns during an activity that is based on "real-life." Our students will be problem solving using their new financial literacy skills!
