My Students

In my classroom you will find twenty smiling faces who have a true zeal for learning. As you can imagine, putting that many five and six-year-olds in a room together can get quite loud. If you walked by our door at any given moment of the day you would see children engaged in various activities helping them develop their craft as a student to become lifelong learners.

Our classroom welcomes parents and fellow teachers in the hope that we help inspire their love of learning also!

My Project

What child isn't captivated by technology? Whether you see it as good or bad, our world today is full of technology and our job as educators is to prepare students for a world full of jobs that haven't even been created yet!

Technology savvy students need technology savvy classrooms.

This project requests Osmo Genius and Creative kits and one Coding Game to engage my students' learning through technology and play. My classroom currently has two iPads and I will use this project to turn one of them into an Osmo learning station for small group rotations during our reading and math blocks.

I've seen how Osmo excites my own children at home and I want that same joy and zest for learning for my classroom children too! When we engage children in purposeful learning disguised as play the possibilities are endless.
