Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, our 5th graders participate in our annual softball game versus the Staff. Students look forward to playing against the staff and try to win. This year, the students are very competitive and want to get as much practice as possible. Unfortunately, we have always depended on students to bring softball equipment to practice for the game. At this time, we do not have access to proper softball equipment.

Students have been so eager to be able to start practicing.

Starting practice now will be extremely beneficial for some students who do not have the confidence yet. Starting practice now will encourage students to help and coach each other.

The equipment will not only impact the forty 5th graders this year, but it will impact every 5th grader to come for years. Having the equipment for our school will allow the students to gain that confidence and promote sportsmanship between each other.
