Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Recess isn’t just a break—it’s an essential part of the school day that supports the physical and mental health of our students. In my classroom, I see daily how a simple moment of play can transform a student’s day, boosting their mood and building their resilience. Unfortunately, our recess equipment is limited, leaving many students without the tools they need to fully engage in play.
With your support, I hope to provide my students with balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, and other fun equipment to encourage movement, socialization, and stress relief.
These items will help us create a space where every child can recharge and connect with their peers in meaningful ways.
