Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is Spring time, and the days are perfect to have fun indoors and outdoors while learning. My students will use the play doh to model sight words.

My students will use the colored chalk to write sentences on the playground floor.

They will use different colors for each part of speech in the sentence. The scented Theraputty will be used to hide plastic letters. The Words To Know sight words workbooks will be used to practice sight word recognition.

My students will use the jump ropes to make syllable division. They will jump once for every syllable in a word. The hula hoops will be used to decode consonant-vowel-consonant words. The hula-hoops will represent the vowels, and consonants used to decode a word. The storage boxes will keep all of this resources organized.
