I will teach Third grade at a Title I school this year, which means most of my students are economically disadvantaged. With this program, I want to expose my students to things they wouldn’t be able to have if it weren’t for donations from generous people.
This will be my first time teaching Third grade!
I love to see children’s bright smiles every morning. It is such a great feeling to know I am able to teach so many students and show them that learning can be lots of fun.
I want to provide them with a rich and meaningful experiences and they face a tough test that determines if they can move onto 4th grade or have to repeat 3rd grade.
My Project
Students are surrounded by technology everywhere they look. It would be very powerful to be able to provide each student with a tablet so they have an opportunity to be engaged in different learning opportunities. These tablets will bring education to a whole new level. The tablets will be used for independent literacy and math centers. They can be used in whole group teaching, as well as in small group instruction.
