Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Come visit our school! You are guaranteed to leave with a huge smile after a visiting our classroom, due to the infectious nature of 25 energized kindergarteners.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we aren't able to return to our classrooms for the rest of the school year.

Our school is Title I where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

My Kindergarten students were learning their letters, building words, reading and writing simple sentences. Unfortunately, we had to leave our classroom due to Covid-19 and my students do not have all the essencial materials needed to continue their learning at home.

Our schools are close and we are not able to return to our classrooms and get materials out.

For this reason, I am requesting 13 sets of magnetic letters, white boards and storage boxes so that my students can continue to practice their letters and building words.I know that might be enough for them to have but it's a great start. The drawstring backpacks will help them keep everything together.

My students and I would like to thank you in advance for your support. You are the ones who let the children explore, discover, dream, and create!
