Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarten can sure get antsy! Moving bodies, moving voices, and moving lessons can cause my students to get fidgety. Our students need to release this built-up energy. With this classroom Ipad Center, we can do this. Students will be able to model body movements from the iPad to practice how to be safe and healthy with our bodies.
This Ipad would allow us to have a center in our classroom where students would be able to take body breaks that students can utilize their built-up energy into our Move to Improve curriculum.
This Ipad would allow us to have a model to use for body awareness. We can all learn how to use our bodies to keep ourselves healthy!
Our schools are enforcing every classroom to use Move to Improve. It is a physical education-based curriculum where we can exercise in the classrooms. Currently, we do not have a laptop that configures with our Smartboard. We only have one student laptop where we all gather around and look at videos that way.
With this new Ipad, our students would be able to individually interact with the curriculum making their student experience that much better in school.
