This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school in Miami Beach. My students are imaginative and inquisitive kids. Most of them come from underprivileged households, mostly non-English speakers. They are passionate about school, they have a great attitude towards learning.
The majority of my students come from low-income homes.
They are a group of bright and unique individuals who are eager to go back to normalcy. My main objective would be for them to be constantly encouraged to know their potentials and strive to always become better.
My Project
Children need to be active! Throughout the school day, we incorporate movement into their lessons as much as possible but there is nothing like recess! This is a chance for students to engage with their classmates while being physically active! This project includes basketballs, football, soccer ball, and goal net for the students to use. For those children that prefer quiet games dominoes are a great choice, very close to the student's cultural background. Students will be able to select from a variety of activities that they will enjoy! There is something for everyone!
