Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The equipment requested will provide the students at Lopez and opportunity to engage in new and different activities to continue to be active every day. The exposure to a variety of activities increases the chances of students finding something they enjoy and can continue to pursue outside the school day to increase their overall fitness.

During the Coronavirus Pandemic students did not have the opportunity or resources to engage in physical activities that required social interaction, teamwork, and communication.

Receiving the vast variety of equipment requested will allow students the opportunity to develop those skills and continue to develop their overall fitness.

I plan on using the equipment requested to create engaging hands on lessons during physical education class. My wish is to ensure all students have the resources necessary to participate in new and engaging physical activities.
