My Project

I love my students, and I LOVE teaching them basic and valuable life skills. It makes me happy to see kids feeling accomplished and excited after completing a FCS lab! The skills my students learn in the classroom and in the kitchen labs are skills they WILL NEED and USE for the rest of their lives; reading, problem solving, math, measuring, teamwork, etc. Currently, we have only one -hand me down-stand mixer that is maybe as old as me!!! Although this may not seem like a necessity, my class periods are only 50 minutes, and these stand mixers will increase our efficiency and our product quality. As a tight knit school and community, we rely on each other to solve problems that bigger districts can usually solve with money. We have be creative in order to bring the best to our students. I would appreciate any and all help in order to provide my FCS students with new tools to be successful chefs in life!!!
