Help me give my students Hand2Mind alphabet letter trays so that they can learn to make words by blending sounds. This set will allow each student to have their own set of alphabet letters to work with individually.

My Project
Our class is so excited to learn to write more and part of that includes learning how to use letters to build words. I love seeing them as they learn to put the letters together and realize that letters build words! In kindergarten, we learn letter names, letter sounds, and how to blend the sounds together to read words. One of the ways students learn this is by manipulating magnetic letters and putting them on magnetic boards.
These trays will enable each student to have their own tray and we will be able to do this together as a whole group activity.
I teach in a rural area and parents aren't always able to contribute to class wish lists. DonorsChoose has helped my classroom SO MUCH! Kindergarten is when children learn their foundation for reading by learning all the letters, the sounds that individual letters make and eventually learn to build words by putting sound together. By having individual sets of alphabet letters and activity mats, they will be learning while playing letter games and writing the letters and words.
I am confident that these trays will be such an asset to our classroom and help so many student for years to come!
