Our school serves 724 students from very unique and diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from low- income families that face many challenges every day. As an elementary art teacher in a Title I school, my students are in need of additional help and support both in and out of the classroom.
Despite economic challenges, my students are eager and excited to explore the world through the arts!
In the art room, students are able to express themselves by participating in several creative and hands-on art projects. My students are encouraged to think in new ways. With dedication and determination, my visual art students are able to achieve greatness!
Students in the visual arts program will be able to access the amazing world of art with their fingertips! Students will be exposed to new forms of tech-based art such as digital sketching and animations. Students will also be able to access millions of artwork found in various places in the world. Students will be able to use a variety of visual arts applications to practice and perfect their crafts.
These two Samsung Galaxy tablets will be a great asset in the delivery of instruction and provide students the ability to access materials to assist in the art-making processes that I teach.
