This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my middle school students for their enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to try new things.
They bring energy and creativity to every class, and their diverse backgrounds and experiences enrich our learning environment.
Their determination to improve and support one another makes our PE/dance class a supportive community where everyone can thrive.
The weights, yoga mats, speaker and rackets will enhance our middle school PE/dance class by providing students with the necessary equipment to improve their physical fitness, coordination and overall well-being that it is necessary on teenagers development.
With these items, students can engage in strength training, practice yoga for mindfulness, enjoy music to energize their dance classes and develop their skills in racket sports, all of which contribute to a well-rounded physical education experience.
The goals for this project are to promote physical fitness, foster teamwork, encourage self-expression through dance and help students develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. By acquiring the requested equipment, I aim to create a more dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every student feels empowered to participate and excel.
My students are a diverse group with unique talents and backgrounds, each bringing their own strengths to the class. They are eager to learn and grow and they demonstrate resilience and creativity in their physical education journey. By providing them with the right tools and opportunities, I believe they can thrive and discover new passions in sports and dance.
