My students are smart, curious, fun-loving, creative, and hardworking. My 18 students represent various cultures and learning levels from kindergarten to third grade. My school consists of 1000+students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I set high expectations for all of my students and want to provide them with the necessary tools in order to succeed.
My Project
I would love to have a few new book shelves and a book display shelf to improve the overall look of our classroom library and inspire students to read. This bookshelf will be a home for all of our books in the classroom. Old books and our new books will have a bright, fun place to shelve and stay organized.
Help me give my students a new bookshelf to make a new reading library corner come to life in my classroom and be able to display our books/author of the month.
The shelves will help organize the classroom theme books as well as the leveled books by level. By having the books out and by labeling the shelves for the students they will easily be able to pick out the book of their choice at their level without a lot of searching! It is even more challenging trying to get kids excited about reading. I want my students to excel and I hope to do that with new organized shelves!
