My Project

Help me provide my students with engaging, hands-on activities that are ideal for independent or small-group learning! The carefully selected resource will complement our reading curriculum, and aligns with best practices from Science of Reading research. From textured cards that support learning blends and digraphs, to fun games, partnered reading scripts, and a wide array of text passage cards—each material has been thoughtfully curated to offer targeted practice in essential reading skills. With these tools, my students will get the structured, interactive support they need to grow as confident, capable readers.

While many of my students can read the words on a page, they struggle to grasp the deeper meaning of what they are reading.

The specific item I’m requesting will make a significant difference for my students, particularly in improving their reading skills and comprehension. The hands-on materials, such as passage cards, comprehension games, and touch and read phonics cards, are designed to reinforce key skills like fluency, sequencing, and understanding text structure. By using these interactive resources, students will be able to actively engage with the text and practice reading strategies in a fun and supportive way.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with tools that transform reading into an enjoyable, meaningful experience. I want them not only to read but also to understand and connect with what they are reading, ultimately building a strong foundation in comprehension that will benefit them in all subjects.
