My students are learning throughout the school day hours and beyond that during after-school. Most of their day consists of much academic work and limited to no time during that day is spent doing any sort of art. My students often ask if art can be included into our weekly schedule; however, supplies are limited. The products I have selected--construction paper, paints, paint brushes--will be used to further develop their ideas and tap into their imagination through creative means. They would be more motivated and inspired if the arts were incorporated into their studies and this can easily be interweaved into all subject areas.
