This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of my students come from families with low socioeconomic status who are underrepresented.
My middle school students are in a critical need to experience as much STEM PBL as possible this coming year to be prepared to compete with their STEM global competitors in the near future.
My students use the Glue Guns, and Poly-Fil Premium Fiber to create pillows representing the math they learned this year. Students who need their own personal space or want to work outside of the classroom will use the Portable Laptop Table to work with. After the pillows are created and decorated, my students will use the Storage Cabinet to store their pillows for our STEM corner and joyful disruption corner of our classroom.
