Let's Make Math Logical, Easy, and Fun!

Help me give my students materials they can use to understand math lessons in a logical way. Most of my students are kinetic learners and these manipulatives would be a great help.

My Students

My students are faced with so many challenges in life, living in a very low income/high poverty and now a pandemic. In my classroom, 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. With that being said, my students are still very eager and enthusiastic to learn. They are hardworking and generous even though they do not have much. Many of my students have special needs and struggle in understanding mathematical concepts

My Project

Manipulatives are key in providing effective, active, engaging lessons in the teaching of mathematics. They are always used in my lessons whether we have remote class or in person. Manipulative allow my students to move from concrete experiences to abstract reasoning. This year with the help of fractions tiles, cash pack, and equation tiles, I helped every student in learning, motivating, and confidence while solving questions. With the help of these manipulatives, I want to share the same feeling for the upcoming lessons and while getting ready for STAAR test. With the help of these resources, I will make sure that no student is left behind in this lifelong learning
