My Project

Thank you for considering my project. I am a 6th-grade math teacher, working in a school district where almost all students are from low-income households. I am reaching out to request your support for our classroom.

Our classroom is all about experiential learning—where students don’t just absorb information but actively engage with it!

By providing each student with their own dry erase board and markers, I will create a dynamic, interactive environment where students explore math concepts, solve real-world problems, and learn through trial and error. These tools will give them the freedom to experiment and collaborate while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Also, Providing access to pencils and classroom management tools will empower students to take ownership of their learning and foster independence.

These materials will make learning math a hands-on, dynamic experience where students take ownership of their education, develop essential life skills, and become more confident learners. Thank you for considering supporting this project, which will have a lasting impact on our students’ educational journey.
