We incorporate a variety of learning strategies into classroom instruction in order to meet the needs of all students because their potential is limitless! Every day in 1st grade is full of surprises and endless learning opportunities.
My Project
This year, the way that students are receiving instruction has changed drastically and we have dove into the digital world. Meaning that many of my students are learning at home and on Zoom, while some of my other students are in person in our classroom.
Your donation would help me to bring a piece of the classroom onto their screens, with the MIMIO portable interactive whiteboard!
What this does is turn my normal whiteboard into a smart board that connects to my computer and can be easily shown on Zoom! Students will be able to visualize their learning as I can project exactly what we are working on and not only explain how to do the assignment but work on it with them directly. This would increase my quality of instruction because I could teach using my board directly and it would allow all of my students, virtual and in person, to see the same thing!
The fun and learning doesn't stop when we are all back together in the classroom, when students are at school they will be able to use our interactive whiteboard to showcase their knowledge and "teach" us what they know and have learned.
