Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My upcoming students are insightful, determined, caring, goofy, researchers and many other adjectives.
They deserve and colorful, interactive, and inviting classroom.
I want them to be engaged through out the year but in different areas around the room. Since they have to spend 7 hours a day in this room I want it to look nice and feel "homey" to them.
I need some decorations and seating to accomplish this. Please help me make learning fun! My students deserve the best and I want to give it to them!! This is my first year teaching and I am ready to take on the challenge! I cant wait to get started!
My Project
The materials I am asking for a for every day use in my classroom. I plan to use the easel for small group, stations, and whole group lessons. I can have the students show their work when presenting how the solved a problem, use it as a reminder board or use it to write instructions. Using the privacy partitions will help the students stay on task during independent work and stop academic dishonesty. The white boards can make any lesson interactive in a whole group setting by allowing the kids to draw pictures, write and demonstrate what they know in a group or independently. The chart tablet can be used in a variety of ways. I can use it to make anchor charts to hang around the room or the students can use to do a brain dump or a group project. I chose each of these materials because they are so versatile in their uses.
