This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting headphones for my students for the use of technology within the classroom, testing, and small group assignments. It is hard in a community where there are low income students, and we are asking them to provide headphones for their child, we all know they go to dollar tree and purchase them there. These earbuds work for a day or two and then stop. I want these children to have headphones that will last all year and that they can call their own. I want these students stress-free from trying to borrow or getting frustrated when their headphones do not work. I have seen an increase in test scores, and I have seen how headphones can help increase scores more. I have been a teacher for 23 years and still need to ask for headphones every year. These headphones are used in all aspects during the day. They use them for testing, small group assignments, Spanish using Clever, and for our curriculum assignments. I would really appreciate your kindness in giving my students these headphones.
