My Project

The 2025-2026 school year is my 25th year in the classroom, and I am teaching 3rd grade for the first time! It has been very exciting to transition to this new grade level.

In my classroom, I push my students to challenge themselves to think critically, develop conceptual understanding, and make connections between classroom subjects and the real world!

Third grade is the beginning of the upper grades in elementary school. Students are expected to take their foundational knowledge and skills from kindergarten through second grade and apply them to more complex concepts in all subject areas. I would love to add LEGOs to my classroom to help students develop the problem solving skills needed for these more complex concepts. These LEGO Creative Boxes will give students the opportunity to get creative and use their spatial reasoning and critical thinking skills to create LEGO figures that fit a specific description like a robot, animal, vehicle, or bridge.

Your donation, of any size, will provide my students with 6 LEGO Creative Brick Boxes to help them increase their spatial reasoning, critical thinking, & problem solving skills!
