Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will give my students the opportunity to learn in a clean environment, and to be rewarded for it. It will also most importantly, provide for them, listening devices that they can use to listen to educational programs on their computers so that they can improve their English learning language. The school that I teach at is a title one school so most of the students actually all of the students are financially struggling and cannot afford to provide their own headsets in order to learn English at school. Of course they learn English from the teacher, however, some of these educational programs that are available online are very helpful and can definitely help them learn English even more.
These kids are our future, and we need them to be able to grasp the English language in a much better way so that they can contribute to our society and be part of our culture and our world here in the United States.
