This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle and high school drama students are learning all about the amazing world of theatre, and I want to give them the opportunity to put on shows at our school. We do not have a traditional auditorium or theatre, but our gym will be a great start for this growing program. One thing we will need to make this space work is lights! Students will learn how to program and focus the lights as well as to help actors move to where they are most effectively illuminated. This small resource will help my students feel the magic of live theatre.
