My students need flash drives, a label maker, liquid tempera paint, vocabulary journals, as well as other materials to help them become more creative and show who they really are while learning.

My Students
My classroom is filled with Special Education EBD Students. In my classroom, we do a lot of hands on projects and activities to keep their creative outlets going. By staying hands on, this allows students to find their creative outlets and they are able to make better behavior choices, especially while learning. I also like to have reward systems put in place so students can learn behavior skills, then we can focus more on academics.
These students are brilliant kids who just need an outlet to be better understood.
They can complete projects better with a hands on approach because they are more motivated. By having tangible items for behavior rewards, behaviors tend to be much better.
My Project
These materials are very hands-on and visual specifically for my students. They will help motivate learners as well as teach them responsibility on how to stay organized.
These students deserve to learn.
By making lessons fun and creative, they are more willing to sit in class and do the assignments. When times get boring, they aren't as motivated to work. By creating a fun lesson, I can enjoy my time teaching as well as they can have fun while learning.
Basic supplies such as the markers and paint will be used for interactive notebooks so students can create more creative foldables. Wobble cushions will be used for students with ADHD to keep them moving while working on their notebooks. Reading books such as The Maze Runner and The Giver are classics that students should have an option to choose from in the classroom library. Other resources will help with lessons to keep students organized such as writing folders and flash drives.
Please, help make a difference by donating basic supplies that every other school seems to have. These supplies help my creative students find an outlet and allow them to create projects and assessments that show case what they have learned.
