My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting time for my little kiddos to blossom into lifelong learners. I have so much passion for teaching and nothing brings me more joy than being with my Kindergarten students!

My students have little hands and big hearts!

They are a diverse group of learners coming from many different backgrounds. We have students that are in the ESL program learning English as their second language. In addition to students with IEP's, students with Autism and developmental delays.

The students may be at all different levels academically but their ability to adapt to change and persevere during the pandemic has been miraculous. I am so proud of how far they have grown this school year!

My Project

Kindergarten is a time for play and exploration! The high demands of the curriculum, leave little time for students to really be creative. This light up table will make learning fun! It will allow students to be creative using shapes to create various patterns and pictures. Students will be able to identify various shapes and become experts and creating patterns. The table will also be used for alphabet recognition, making words, and later in the year making a sentence! These are all core skills taught throughout the year in Kindergarten.

Light up tables are used to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills in a fun and playful way!

Students are naturally drawn to light. This table and materials will be a wonderful asset to my classroom. It will be used over each year for a new group of students. I am so thankful for your support on this project.
