Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid-19 has affected students nationwide in the way that they learn. When I met my 5th grade students, they all had experienced a different way of learning since third grade. Most kids learned from the comfort of their home using the seating that they preferred. Coming back to a school setting my kids had trouble readjusting to a classroom setting.

This project will help my students by giving them various seating options such a standing desk or a soft seat to help them focus and learn!

In addition, It will also provide materials for the classroom such as an easel for our anchor charts, which will allow them to express their learning through creativity. My students love group work where they can combine all of their talents to show what they've learned.
