Let's Learn to Golf at MMS

Help me give my students an opportunity to learn how to play golf, a lifelong outdoor activity, with a starter pack for a classroom set that includes left-handed clubs.

My Project

This beginner golf set is a great introduction to the lifelong outdoor activity of golf. These specific clubs feature a softer head, making them a safe alternative for plastic golf balls in the middle school classroom setting. MMS has recently opened a brand-new field for PE classes and after-school activities. This new space, combined with a new golf set, will be a perfect match to help our students be excited to be outside and learn a new activity during school.

My goal is to help teach students golf because I want to see more students enjoy the outdoors and find activities in their local area where they can play with friends and family for a lifetime.

Our community is lucky to have public golf courses nearby, including West Seattle Golf Course and Bill Wright Golf Complex at Jefferson Park. This will be a perfect time to teach our students about recreation opportunities in the local area.
