Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are special because they strive to do their best. My classroom is a mix of K-5th grade students. Most have trouble with simple functioning skills and others need reminders. My students are accepting of the new lessons and new skills. These amazing activities, including the activity table, time schedule, and sorting activities I've picked out will help all of my students with these skills. These activities will give my students the exposure they need to learn the skills in everyday life such as counting and cooperation. My goal for this project is to teach my students the importance of these skills and how these skills will be used in the future (jobs, at home, etc).
