This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goals for this project are to provide my students with high quality, professional soprano recorders that will improve their individual and collective sound when we learn about and perform Jazz music. Once these improvements are made, I expect students will be inspired to work harder, feel more confident about their performances, and recognize the progress they’re making in their musical development. My students are passionate about music and improving with their instrument; yet most of them have to rely upon school-provided instruments and equipment. Therefore, it is important that I seek out ways to provide them with the best quality materials.
