My Students

In my classroom, I want my students to walk into the classroom ready to learn new and exciting things, but that came to a halt on March 14,2020

For a lot of students in the classroom, I am the one thing they know they will see on a day to day basis and that I am a constant fixture in their lives.

My students come from families that don't know where their next meal might be, they may be living with a family member or they are taking care of siblings while their parents work the third shift. Many of my students come from households that speak a language other than English and tend a Title I school where the budget gets cut more and more affecting the education they are receiving.

My Project

Wow, the beginning of this school year will look very different then then the past ones. We will be gearing up to learn at home, and being in a combination class of both first and second graders.

When my students start school I want them to have the supplies they need whether we are in the classroom or at home.

This is why I am requesting the take home bags, so that my students can have everything thing they need in one place. The book markers so they can put in their books and it goes with our classroom theme. The next items I am requesting is sentence strips, this way students can have ones to work on at home, and I can have them to help me teach them printing skills and use them for sentence starters and newsprint paper with writing lines, so that they can practice correct letter formation. Thank you for helping me supply my students with learning supplies to make this year successful.
