My students are fun, energetic, and always ready for an adventure. My students keep me laughing, guessing, and smiling every day.
I teach in a low income, Title I school in southeastern Kentucky.
My students come to school every day with eagerness and thirst for learning. Though they may not have the opportunities that students in my affluent communities have, this does not hinder their love of learning. I get to provide my students with many experiences! Each day offers a new story in their Kindergarten adventure!
My Project
The materials I have selected will be used to send home for the students to use while learning at home. I will send games that each student needs extra practice with. I have selected math, writing, and reading learning games.
I have chosen counting, money, shapes, etc.
for math. I have chosen an upper and lower case letter match, beginning sound recognition, and word tiles for reading. I also chose magnetic writing boards so the kids can practice writing as well.
These games will give the kids a chance to play games while learning. It will give them a little fun and hopefully make them want to do their work. I'm also hoping it will help their parents interact with them and help them to learn as well as enjoy learning.
