My Students

My students come to school every day just to have a "normal" in their life. Most come from single parent homes, many who don't know where their next meal will come from. One hundred percent of the school population receives free breakfast and lunch. These students are eager to learn and want someone there who will tell them to reach for the stars. They know they can be successful if they are given the right tools and supplies. They need lots of encouragement and love.

My Project

These items will allow my students extra practice at home with reading, math, and science. This will allow me to broaden what my students learn while they are at home.

These resources are invaluable to helping students learn while away from school.

The math books will enforce the basic knowledge they will need for success. The reading books will help them with reading fluency and allow them continued success in reading. The science and Scholastic readers will allow a fun activity and magazine for them to use and keep at home.
