This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a variety of cultures in which we celebrate on a daily basis. With lunar year fast approaching, I want my students who celebrated to share there experiences and traditions. I also want to introduce Lunar New Year to the students that might have never been exposed to it. I want to do this by reading articles, watching videos, and closing it out with some awesome fun art activities.
Therefore, getting a Cricut printer for the classroom will allow us to close out the lesson with some fun art activities that can be customize to their learning, their traditions, and they're over all learning collaboratively.
