Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from Los Angeles between the ages of 3-5 years old. The preschool program includes students with disabilities and come from diverse backgrounds. Some of the students' disabilities include Autism, and language impairments.

My students come from low income households and receive free school meals.

My students are eager to learn and love hands on experiences that stimulate their learning. It is crucial to provide students with early intervention and fun learning experiences to help them succeed.

My Project

The manipulatives will help my preschoolers learn with hands-on activities while learning from home.

The donations to this project will help my students learn fundamental math skills all while sitting in front of a device at home.

Each student will receive a math kit full of manipulatives to create an interactive live math instruction a fun and engaging experience during our lessons. My students will participate during our lessons and will be able to use their manipulatives to help them understand guided math principles. It is crucial we continue to enrich our students' learning through these difficult times of distance learning.
