My Project
About 1 in 3 adults in the U.S. has high blood pressure, but many don't realize it. High blood pressure is sometimes called a “silent killer,” because it usually has no warning signs, yet it can lead to life-threatening conditions like heart attack or stroke.
Our class can learn about blood pressure, how to monitor it and how to effectively treat hypertension.
Help us get blood pressure cuffs for our classroom and we can learn "hands on" how to take it, monitor it and discuss these numbers at home with out families. Talking about blood pressure within your community, friends and family can raise awareness about hypertension and heart disease.
