My Students

I teach 25 energetic, ready to learn TK and kindergarten students.

For most of my students this is their first school experience and I want for it to be a memorable one! TK and Kindergarten sets the foundation for the rest of their educational careers and your donation will help me maximize their experiences. Our school is located in South Los Angeles, CA. We are a 100% Title 1 school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.

My Project

I am requesting a laptop computer to be used with a projector to increase my Transitional Kindergarten's engagement and accommodate their learning styles. Technology is driving our society, and a laptop will help me provide audio and visual enrichment to support our math and language arts curriculum. With this laptop I can enhance my lessons to provide them with the knowledge necessary to expand their horizons. Transitional Kindergarten students are the youngest in my class and the added visuals will help them master our new common core standards.
