Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we believe in the importance of time to get outside and active. Young people need the ability to exert energy in a safe way. We work extremely hard within our school community to provide a recess time for our middle schoolers because we know that for many scholars it might be the only time to socialize with their peers. We also know that it is important because it helps develop those social skills.

To help with this, we want to make sure to provide tools, such as soccer balls, for students to interact with each other productively.

These tools include sporting equipment, games and other structured activities focusing on the enhancing their recess time.

With all of these ideas, we hope that you will consider donating to our fund to keep the joy in our activities. Thank you so much for your time!
