Let's Keep It Clean

Help me give my students two air purifiers and Clorox disinfecting wipes to help keep the air and furniture in the classroom clean and safe for students. We will also need a touch less thermometer for quick checks.

My Students

My students have disabilities such as autism, developmental delay, visual impairment, specific learning disabilities, ADHD, and mild intellectual disabilities. In my classroom, 17 students are served daily in a core curriculum special education classroom. They are always very eager to learn.

Although they have many difficulties they are very eager to learn when they come into my classroom.

We are a public Title I elementary school in a small town in South Carolina with pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students. These students come from many different socioeconomic backgrounds.

My Project

Going into a new school year many teachers are thinking of how to keep their students and themselves safe from any sickness. The items requested will help me as a teacher feel like I'm doing all I can to protect the health of us all.

Health safety when resuming school is important to everyone!

My classroom is large in size so I have requested two air purifiers. I have also requested Clorox disinfecting wipes because surfaces will need to be cleaned several times a day. The touch less thermometer has been needed for some time but with the pandemic still here it is a quick way to access students when they may not feel well. It will also be important to have during regular flu season.
