This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I teach my students to be proactive and remain in control of their strong feelings. I teach my class different strategies to calm down and work through their anger, frustration and sadness.
When my scholars are in the right state of mind, they are able to focus, learn and grow to their fullest potential.
I am requesting materials like liquid and magna tiles, a cuddle ball, pop it fidget and other sensory tools that will be placed in our calm down corner in order to help my students self regulate and take control of their emotions.
