This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, as part of the learning curriculum, my students study theme projects. This year my students will participate in The Support Our Troops project. This is a community service project , the entire kindergarten grade will be writing letters, drawing pictures and most importantly collecting items to send to our troops overseas. These bins would help to organize items that will collected throughout the year. It will be a very rewarding way of saying thank you to the troops that are supporting us and have zero access to stores to purchase items.
