I work in a Title I school with 4-5 year olds. Many have difficulties expressing their feelings and get emotional. A calming place in the classroom will help my students be able to express their needs in a positive way and help me better understand how to deal with their emotions. Now with this pandemic I am going to be dealing with an array of different emotions such as fear, anger, excitement, and being worried .I want to give my students a nurturing place they can go to express how they feel and know that’s it okay.

About my class
