This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello the reason that I am doing this project is because I have 3rd grade students, and some of them did not know the alphabet. I will like to have an impact in the students' life by teaching them how to read. Most of my students are English learners this is why I will like to teach them the importance of read.

We also are starting to have reading projects in which the students have to identify the elements of the story structure, and the students have to choose books from my little library.

Our school doesn't have a Library but we are trying to make a difference by creating one in the classroom. If we are able to get this books we can get a little bit closer with our goal which is give the students the love of the reading. I will really want to give my students an opportunity to get better understanding of the books.
