My Students

We have students at our school who are eager to do some amazing learning, and become the leaders of the future, with a little extra help starting their school year will motivate them to do well.

Recently, our school was affected by the riots near Lake Street, many of our students come from the Minneapolis area and were also affected by this in addition to coming from ELL and Free/Reduced Lunch.

“We want to give them the gift of learning in our classroom which will be for 7th and 8th grade for Writing Class.“ Our students come from ELL and low income families and will appreciate many things when even given the smallest things. It's the beginning of a new school year and all our families have been affected in so many ways. Anywhere from Riots, Covid or just already having difficult situations. I would just like to see their school year be a little brighter through having the supplies they need to learn and having items for our classroom to make it go smoothly.

My Project

This year I am teaching Writing for Middle School 7th and 8th grade! I hope to really help students bring the joy into being a writer!

This is an opportunity to help their work shine!

Student will use their pencils to write their rough draft, they will then use the colored pencils to help them fix their mistakes on their rough drafts, red pencils to correct other students papers and their final project will get feedback from me with attractive ink stamps.

Their final project they will have an opportunity to print on the printer in the classroom to give them the feeling of independence and being a publisher!
